Objectıves:
The main objective of the project is to empower young people aged 17 to 25, especially those with disadvantages or geographical barriers, to become active leaders promoting environmentally friendly practices within their communities. In the first phase of the project, 4 international mobilizations will be organized with the participation of young people from partner countries on sustainable development, recycling and reuse, storytelling through image-video production and digital marketing. Following the trainings, in the second phase of the project, small teams of young people will be supported to projectize their ideas and these local actions will be sub-granted from the project budget.
Implementatıon:
The main activities will be:
Trainings (with the participation of 3 young people from each partner country):
Training 1 – Recycling and Reuse: The total duration of the training program is 9 full working days, the first 4 days in Austria, followed by 1 day green travel to Croatia and an additional 4 full working days in Croatia. With this training the participants will be able to develop their competence in environmental protection.
Results
Alongside the European Green Deal and SDG targets, the impact of this project complements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027:
Building the leadership and active citizenship capacities of young people in partner countries;
To develop the capacity of the youth sector to work transnationally with attention to inclusiveness, solidarity and sustainability;
Promote and contribute to transnational learning
Extending existing practices and outreach beyond partnership, including making good use of digital tools to stay connected in all circumstances, even in situations of remoteness, isolation or incarceration;
linking results to local communities, creating job opportunities and nurturing innovative ideas that can be replicated and scaled up in other settings in Partner countries;
Develop new tools and non-formal learning methods that promote the acquisition/development of competences through innovative practices, including digital literacy skills, especially in eligible Partner Countries;
