The SKD Local Action 1 team took part in the youth training activities organized within the Erasmus+ KA3 Green Up Development (GUD) project. Through international training sessions, the team gained experience in sustainability, environmental leadership, and digital awareness.

  • Bitola, North Macedonia: Introduction to the SDGs and tools for local environmental leadership.
  • Zagreb, Croatia: Exploration of circular economy practices and practical reuse solutions.
  • Ankara, Türkiye: Development of creative media and environmental storytelling skills.
  • Vilnius, Lithuania: Training on digital marketing and promoting environmental campaigns.

Following these training activities, the team introduced the EcoQuest Board Game, developed under the Erasmus+ KA3 GUD project. EcoQuest is an interactive educational tool designed for children and young people, aligned with the SDGs and the GreenComp framework. Throughout the game, participants make decisions on waste management, renewable energy, and environmental protection, learning from the outcomes of their choices. EcoQuest enhances teamwork, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills while encouraging players to develop sustainable solutions.

Supported by pilot sessions, expert feedback, and user evaluations, EcoQuest offers both an engaging and pedagogically strong learning experience. The game plays a significant role in increasing young people’s environmental awareness and helping them adopt sustainable behaviors in their daily lives.
